Allergy:

"Allergy is a change in the reactivity of the body's immune system, an increased sensitivity to the normally safe substance". The manifestation of allergies can be different - for example, asthma, runny nose, conjunctival eye inflammation, atopic dermatitis, hives, or anaphylaxis.
When sensitizing (changing the sensitivity) with respect to any allergen, the manifestation is expressed in an increase in the IgE class antibody content with respect to this substance. For evaluation, various panels (mixtures) are used, intended for screening of inhaled and food allergens. Also, the diagnosis uses the definition of allergen-specific antibodies of IgE class.

With a positive reaction to allergic panels, a specific study of antibodies of the IgE class is performed upon agreement with the customer.

List of allergological panels (mixtures) manufactured in the laboratory and a list of antibodies to certain allergens:
Medications
·        Household Dust
·        Birds and animals
·        Food products
·        Herbs
·        Insects
·        Household allergens
·        Mold fungi and microorganisms
·        Trees
·        Weeds
·        parasites

The antibodies of the IgE class that appear in the body also react to the allergen of similar proteins. The most common such allergy is an allergy to pollen.

For example, if there is an allergy to birch pollen, a person should be careful with the following products. The most important pollen allergens and cross-reactions of plant origin of food allergens are as follows:

Birch - nuts, almonds, apple, pear, plum, cherry, kiwi, apricot, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, celery
Herbs - tomatoes, potatoes, hazelnut, wheat
Wormwood - celery, parsley, carrots, seasonings (ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, peppers, coriander, etc.), sunflower seeds
The plants and animals related to this family give a cross-reaction (for example, birch and alder, wormwood, dandelion, sunflower and marigold, Timothy and other meadow plants).
In the case of cross-allergy, irritation symptoms can occur year-round.
